Full and Partial Dentures

If you have experienced tooth loss or you have recently had dental extractions, you may have questions about the future of your smile. Missing teeth can make day-to-day life difficult and even painful. Tooth loss makes it difficult to maintain a nutritious diet and can make you feel self-conscious about the way you look.

At Shoreland Dental, we offer all major tooth-replacement options including dentures and partial dentures so that you can eat the foods you love and feel great about the way you look.

Complete (Full) Dentures

If you faced complete tooth loss on your upper or lower arch, full dentures can provide an affordable and convenient way to restore your smile.

Many patients fear wearing dentures that look boxy or unnatural. Dr. Dave takes extra care to ensure that your dentures look lifelike and complement your facial features. Denture teeth come in a wide variety of shades and shapes to match every smile. You do not need to worry about having the large, boxy-looking dentures your grandparents wore.

Full dentures consist of a pink resin base to mimic the appearance of your gums, and Dr. Dave can choose denture teeth to match your gender, age, and facial structure. When you smile, most people will never notice you are wearing a denture.

Partial Dentures to Complete Your Smile

When you have some of your natural teeth remaining, we can create a partial denture to attach to your natural teeth and complete your chewing surface and smile. Since partial dentures anchor to your existing teeth, they give patients additional stability.

Dr. Azenheimer carefully designs your partial dentures to match your natural teeth. When you smile, it will appear seamless and natural.

Both complete and partial dentures have come a long way and can provide our patients with a solution that gives them a greater quality of life.

Implant-Retained Dentures

If you are one of those people who has a difficult time with poor-fitting dentures, Dr. Azenheimer can design new dentures that take advantage of dental implant technology. He can design dentures that lock into place with a few dental implants, usually from two to four units, to give you a secure and confident smile.

Implant-retained dentures have the added benefit of allowing you to eat a wider range of foods without concerns about your dentures moving or falling out as you eat, laugh, or smile.

At Shoreland Dental, we know that a healthy diet is a big part of good overall health, and we design dentures that give our patients a brighter future.
